Opposite Sign: Gemini
Ruling Planet: Jupiter

Mutable Sign. Goes at a great gallop. Sagittarius is energetic, ambitious, generous, freedom loving and a seeker of challenge, open to new ideas and exploration.

Birthstone

Turquoise is your birthstone. Some say that in the thirteenth century, Turquoise was named in the mistaken belief that it came from Turkey. That may be true or it may be that the name comes from the Persian word for Turquoise, firouze, since Persia has been a major source of this gemstone for thousands of years. In any case, the blue of this gemstone is so vivid and distinct that it has given its name to the color. Turquoise is the anniversary gemstone for the 5th year of marriage.

Zodiac

Pearl is your zodiac stone. The Pearl can be all the silvery colors of the moon and not just white. The Pearl takes on its silvery, shimmering, colors from the color of the linings of the mollusk (oyster) in which it is grown. If you wear Pearl, they will turn discord into harmony, and influence important people.

Talisman

Beryl is your talisman stone. Everyone admires the green fire of Emerald and the watery blue charm of Aquamarine, but not many realize that there are different colors of the same mineral: Beryl. There are other members of the Beryl family much less known than their famous cousins. Pink and peach Morganite, named after the gem collector, J.P. Morgan; heliodor, also known as golden Beryl; rare red Beryl, which is as red as Emerald is green; pale green Beryl, which is a green version of Aquamarine; and colorless Beryl or Goshenite, which shows off the brilliance of this gem family.

Mystical

Star Sapphire is your mystical stone. The ancients regarded Star Sapphires as a very powerful talisman, a guiding star for travelers and seekers of all kinds. They were so powerful, they were said to continue to protect the wearer even after being passed on to someone else.

Planet

Topaz is your planet stone. The Egyptians said that Topaz was colored with the golden glow of the mighty sun god Ra. This made Topaz a very powerful amulet that protected the faithful against harm. The Romans associated Topaz with Jupiter, who also is the god of the sun.

Lucky Charm

Grossularite is your lucky charm stone.
